The importance of a wide and varied activities programme cannot be underestimated and at Inglewood we try to deliver a comprehensive selection of activities, hobbies, exercise and fun.
It is incredibly important to us that our residents continue to enjoy their favourite activities and hobbies and maybe even try some new ones.
Our residents help to plan our activities programme so that it always suited to everyone's changing needs and wants. Each day they can choose to join in with whichever activities they wish. For those who choose to have some quieter time our residents can choose to spend some individual time with our experienced Activities Co-ordinator doing an activity of their choosing specifically tailored to them.
We offer a wide range of activities, all based on suggestions from our residents, such as fun and gentle exercise, baking, arts and crafts, dancing, Sunday newspaper discussion, gardening, board games and listening to music.
We have a selection of indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy the activities, carry on with existing hobbies or enjoy visits from family and friends.
At PH Care Group (Inglewood Care Home), we are delighted to use The Daily Sparkle in all our care homes to enrich the lives of our residents. The Daily Sparkle is a reminiscence newspaper filled with fascinating stories, quizzes, jokes, and conversation starters, designed especially for older people. It supports meaningful interactions, sparks joyful memories, and encourages laughter and connection amongst our residents and care workers.
